Hi all, We've just bought out first caravan, a 23 year old swift danette which came complete with awning and everything else for £700. There is a small damp problem which were getting fixed but we've already had our first weekend away in it and it was perfect :-) I love the layout (5 birth with a bunk at the end) and it is in good condition inside. My parents have always had a caravan and it's surprising how much I've picked up from them - I wasn't particularly interested in helping as a teenager but must have gathered knowledge subliminally as it was all very familiar last weekend! Planning to go out again in 2 weeks. Jenny

Have fun with it!! It's amazing how much we pick up on as Children! I was a late starter at six months old but most of what I now know about caravans was learnt as a child! Maybe that's why I know so little! teehee!

Hi Jenny always great to see a newbie enter the world of vanning, hope you continue to enjoy for many many years to come.

Great you have found a van that you really like. Happy vanning to you and your family.

Hi Jenny,

We also bought a Swift classic danette and it's also our first van! Smile

Hopefully picking the van up next weekend and can't wait! We bought it because it's a 5 berth and more importantly, under 1200KG. Hope you have many years of fun with the van.
