To introduce ourselves, we are Andy and Anne from Sheffield. new to the site but caravanners for the last 4 years.
We are all year 'vanners. we were in Castleton before Christmas and in Durham for the New Year. We were also in Chatsworth at the back end of January.
We're on our second van, as we decided we "needed" a fixed bed!
We've yet to try a rally, but as we never use the on-site facilities, I dont see us having any practical problems.
Anyway, thats enough for now, I'm off to browse the rest of the posts.

Hello Andy and Anne and welcome to the Practical Caravan forum.
I can recommend rallying, obviously we pick and choose which rallies we want to go on because some locations are better than others but rallying is a great way to maximise the use of your caravan and get the best out of it without breaking the bank.
C&CC district association rallies don't have to be pre-booked so it's possible to simply turn up on spec, or if the weather is bad to decide to give it a miss.
