For Lutz: Car Parking in Dresden

Lutz,

 

We are planning to visit Dresden and the surrounding areas in September. One area we like the look of for accomodation (no van) is Bannewitz. Rather than take the car into the city are there Park and Ride schemes on the outer ring E55/A17?

When we stayed on the Outskirts of Dresden (campsite and about 3 miles from Bannewitz) )the public transport into the City was pretty good, as it tends to be in Germany. This might help http://www.dresden.de/en/03/09/c_01.php
