Most car polishes are okay.  We use Mer on our caravan and it prevents black streaks and any dirt just washes off.

Hello V,

Basically any good soft car polish (not cutting paste types) should do, BUT if you caravan is still covered by the manufacturers guarantee you might be wise to check with the manufacturer as the use of the wrong polish may invalidate part or the whole of the guarantee.

If it doesn't specify type/brand in the owners manual, then you can use anything.

Bailey may endorse a particular brand but unless the owners manual specifies that that's the ONLY approved cleaner/polish then it means virtually nothing.

Auto Glym is fine on Alu Tech caravans.

You might want to check out One dry wash. Its a great product you can use to clean and polish without using uckets of water and other polishes. Great to keep your van shiny especially on sites wo will frown n you using buckets of wash and wax
