I am looking to replace the main lamps fitted in the wood surround of the Heiki roof light & in the bathroom with LED bulbs. How ever these are fitted with a single side mounted 2 pin halogen capsule bulb & there seems to be very little room to fit any thing else.

Has any one replaced these lamps with LED'S ???& can you tell me what with please.

any info on replacement bulb for the other spot lights would also be welcom

The bulbs with the side pin are refered to as a G4

This is a link to some G4 LED'S

These are the ones that I fitted into the Heiki surround & bathroom

12V DC, 12 SMD 5050 LED G4 light

They are not the cheapest Frown but having tried the cheapo one's in the house I was disapointed how long they actually lasted........

My dear sir sprokett, thanks for your reply. I was not sure that the type of smd replacement you say you have fitted would fit within the light fitting round my Heiki roof light in my Pagent.I assume your van is also a Pagent with the wood surround? Did you have any problem fitting them in & replacing the glass lens??

Thanks Tony
