I'm very interested in the new Range Rover Evoque 2.2 with an auto box

Anyone already using to tow or read any reviews

Regards

Andy

If you buy one take a very close look at the body work.

Having friends and family in the trade you would be surprised how many new cars arrive with scratches and are touched in before they are handed over! If its a good job you would never know?

Be prepared to wait 6 months for your order, they cant build them quick enough.

Manager at my place of work has a white one and it is a stunning car and a head turner, very well built and lots of quicky bits, like setting the car in valet mode and the the puddle lights that project RR.

Dont get the 3 door though awful to get into the back.

It has a proven engine and i dont think you would have to doubt its towing ability?

As with all LR products it will be hit or miss if you get a good one or not I would personally plan to get rid of it when your warrenty is up. As far as ability to tow goes it's a LR so shouldn't be any problems. Just watch for the eletrics.  We did have a peek when we were last at the dealer chasing up the Defender but wouldn't be for us, too crampt in the back and a small boot. Very claustrophobic in the back but if there's just the two of you then it's okay in a blingy sort of way.

It would seem that LR products have two major faults - the hit/miss quality control at the factory and the poor dealer network who aren't interested in customer issues - apart from that they're great - if you accept that Evoque has Marmite styling, either love it or hate it.

Kerbweights and max tow weights may not be as high as you think.

Certainly a "breakaway" from the traditional for LR.

I think it looks a pigs ear.

But i do like the looks of the free lander and RR.

Cant stand cars with narrow windows, makes me feel claustrophobic.
