Hooks House Farm at Robin Hoods Bay is really nice.  The pitches are sloping but the owner will tow your van in and level it.  Fantasic views.  It's about five miles from Whitby.  We didn't use the facilities but I had a quick look in, they were clean.  There's some positive reviews on UK Campsites.

I love the area, Whitby has a good selection of shops and takeways, restaurants.  There's a Morrisons there too.  Plenty of petrol stations in the area.  Plenty of walking in the area, but obviously it's hilly.  Some nice beaches.  We loved it.

Hi Sedo

We stayed at Sandfield House Farm 3 years ago. Sloping site with  good seaviews  near the golf course. There is a pub within walking distance. Facilities were good too.

Just had great weekend at Whitby Holiday Park.   The  front of our caravan was just 3ft from the cliff edge overlooking Saltwick Bay with fantastic sea views.   It is approx. 10 minute walk to Whitby Abbey then down the steps to the town.   We enjoyed a lovely cliff top walk from the site to Robin Hoods Bay.   All in all a very central well kept site with friendly staff - we highly recommend it.

We stayed at this site a month ago, ony because it was a last minute visit and eveywhere else was booked, yes great site bit cramped for tourers at the top unless you have the "clifftop" pitch fantastic views on these pitches, great clifftop walks to the abbey, whitby and as said above Robin Hood bay, no noise from the pub or restaurant and a very clean site pleasant staff etc BUT very expensive

At the moment we are on the CC site at Low Moor.

This site is surrounded by trees on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors but has no shower block.

Two nice dog walks among the trees and at the end of the road, May Beck Trail, is Forestry Commission land with a small car park for walkers.

Handy for the NYM Railway and Heartbeat country, all within a few miles and only 6 miles from Whitby and 13 miles from Scarborough.

The site is very quiet due to it being a good way from the B1416 and has friendly wardens.
