Our Owner Satisfaction Awards 2022 saw Coachman win the Best Caravan Manufacturer category, achieving an overall score of 89.6%.

After achieving second place in the New Caravans category and first place in the Pre-Owned Caravans category, the results shows that Coachman is the brand to beat for a rewarding and reliable tourer.

While they were beaten to top spot by Adria (who scored 89.5%) in the Best New Caravans category, Coachman still achieved a very respectable 87.9%, an improvement from the 84.3% scored in 2020.

In the Pre-Owned Caravans category, the 93% Coachman scored is a sensational result, and another improvement on their 2020 performance where they received 91.3%.

Topping the pre-owned category is particularly impressive from Coachman as it comes at a time when the secondhand caravan market is thriving. In fact, the stats show that 39% of respondents were buying pre-owned, an increase from 37.7% from the previous survey.

This year, there were 3449 responses from readers of Practical Caravan and the members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, an increase from 2848 last time around. With this improved sample size, we’re more confident than ever in the accuracy of the results, and this makes Coachman’s achievements all the more notable.

With Coachman leading the way in the Owner Satisfaction Awards, it’s not surprising to see that the brand also did well in the Practical Caravan Awards 2022. Here, the manufacturer took first place in the best caravan under £30,000 and best caravan for couples, while also making the shortlist for the best 2 berth caravan, best seasonal pitch caravan and best family caravan.
