Gifts for caravan owners who have everything
Celestron SkyMaster 25×70 Porro Prism
Coming with a powerful 25x magnification, these Celestron binoculars are ideal for lovers of nature who want to get that bit more from their interactions with the great outdoors. The 70mm objective lenses help to provide maximum image brightness when the conditions are low-light, while they can be quickly focused thanks to a large central focus dial. For extra ease of use, they come with a protective rubber exterior too.
Avtex SB195BT
This 12V/24V TV Soundbar is a great choice for anyone who is looking to take their sound set up to the next level. It’s incredibly compact and connects to the TV through a HDMI lead for an improved audio experience when watching television. It also doubles up as a Bluetooth speaker, simply by connecting the speaker to your phone via Bluetooth, so music can be enjoyed at the volume you want.
Bluetti EB3A
A portable power station makes the ideal gift for anyone who likes touring with gadgets and gizmos. The EB3A was tested by Practical Caravan’s Deputy editor, Paul, who found it to be impressive and effective (review: Bluetti EB3A). It’s able to simultaneously charge small devices and even comes with a wireless charger on top. Plus it’s simple to operate – always a bonus with any accessory!
Garmin Camper 795 sat-nav
A sat nav can be a crucial piece of kit for caravanners, and the new Camper range from Garmin is an impressive option for anyone who needs an upgrade. In fact, we voted the 795 the best caravan sat nav on the market at the recent Practical Caravan Awards 2024. We really like how it’s loaded with plenty of features that get you safely to your destination, factoring in your tourer’s dimensions and providing warnings of upcoming sharp turns and more. As well as that, there are numerous additions that help you get the most from your tour, such as Local Spots, which provides suggestions for where to visit in the area.
The Touring Caravan Story: Over a Century
Written by Practical Caravan’s very own contributor Andrew Jenkinson, this caravanning book is ideal for anyone interested in the history of the caravan. Published in 2022, the 160-page book details how caravanning became what it is today, starting out in 1919 when it was a ‘rich man’s pastime’ and continuing through the decades to the present day. The book features a wide selection of photos too, which are almost certain to provide a nostalgia hit.
Scratch Off Map of the UK
The best part of owning a caravan is the freedom to tour whenever you want. A great way to keep track of where you’ve visited in the UK and Ireland is provided by this clever A2 art print – simply scratch off the gold foil each time a new location is visited to reveal an illustrated map of Britain and Ireland. It may make choosing the next destination to head to a bit easier too.
Gibsons Caravan Outings 2 x 500 piece Jigsaw Puzzle
This will make the ideal gift for any jigsaw puzzle loving caravanners out there. It includes two 500 piece jigsaws which should provide a nice bit of nostalgia, as well as a welcome reminder of the recipient’s favourite pastime. The puzzles will take you back to the 60s, with artist Kevin Walsh capturing touring adventures in the Highlands, potentially providing inspiration for a 2025 tour in the process. In one of the puzzles, you’ll be able to see Craigievar Castle too.
Chilly’s Water Bottle
I got a Chilly’s bottle last year and I can safely say it’s become one of my most used items of recent times, giving me the freedom to keep my cold water cold for up to 24 hours and my hot drinks hot for up to 12 hours. The screw top lid has never let me down either, so I don’t have to worry about leaks, and it’s BPA-free too. If you’re unsure what to buy for someone, I think this could make the perfect gift, allowing them to stay hydrated when they’re out and about on tour. They’re available in a wide range of colours too.
Nebula Mars 3 Air
If you’re buying a present for your partner and they’ve often complained about the TV setup in their tourer, this could be the perfect gift this Christmas. I tested one recently and was very impressed by the clarity of the projected image and the audio quality. There’s also a good battery life, which I found surpassed the 2.5 hours that is advertised. It’s this which I think helps to make it such a great option for caravanners, offering the freedom to enjoy films in your awning when pitched up. Then, when you’re ready to head inside, you can move it into the bedroom for one last episode before turning in for the night.
Vermont Christmas Company Camping for Christmas 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle
Ideal for the jigsaw puzzle-loving caravanner who likes a bit more of a challenge and the magic of a Christmas scene, this 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle is sure to get everyone in the festive mood. What will make it more testing is that the pieces are randomly shaped. Upon completion, a cheerful seasonal image featuring Christmas lights, tourers, decorations, a fire and more will await. It could make the perfect Christmas Day afternoon activity.

LEGO Friends 41726
This LEGO Friends set includes a brightly coloured tow car and caravan, providing a fun representation of life on site. The tourer comes with a bedroom and kitchen space, which can be revealed by taking the roof off, while the car can be attached to the caravan. The set also comes with Autumn and Aliya mini-dolls, along with a campfire, a butterfly, a camera and even marshmallows, allowing those campsite memories to be recreated.
Bluey’s Caravan Play Set
Bluey heads on tour with this fun set. A great choice for the younger caravanners out there, the tourer can be folded out, with a kitchen area to be found inside. Children will be able to have fun decorating it with the provided stickers, while a campfire (complete with marshmallow) is included too.
Sylvanian Families – The Caravan
Coming with more than 35 pieces and accessories, this cute caravan from The Sylvanian range is certainly a well-equipped tourer! It opens up from both the top and the side, revealing an interior with a kitchen, washroom and living area. The tourer even comes with two bunks, complete with bedding. You can also purchase separate towing vehicles too.
Useful gifts for caravan owners
LE Rechargeable Camping Lights
A torch is the type of gift that always makes it onto a list of caravan essentials, and it’s one that will almost certainly both be needed and used at some point. This option can be recharged via a USB cable and can reach either 300 or 500 lumens. It’s IPX4 water-resistant and also provides a side light which has three different light settings.
iBeani Quishion
Space-saving accessories with practical uses always get a big thumbs up from us, and the iBeani Quishion certainly ticks that box. Available in three colours – grey, blush pink and ochre – it can transform from a scatter cushion (45 x 45cm) into a blanket (190 x 140cm), making it a highly useful accessory for those cold nights on tour. It’s made from soft polyester and its practicality is enhanced by being fully machine washable for some easy cleaning come the end of the touring season.
Amazon Echo Auto
This useful accessory from Amazon could be a game-changer if you’re buying for someone whose car doesn’t have built-in voice assistant. Instead, by plugging in this handy gadget, they will be able to bring Alexa into their towing vehicle, giving them the freedom to listen to their favourite songs hands-free, with five built-in microphones meaning there should be no problem with Alexa hearing you. It’s also got a fast car charger included, perfect for giving your phone a quick top up before pitching up.
Anker 325 Portable Charger
If you’re buying for someone who loves embarking on day trips and exploring the local surroundings, they’re likely to appreciate a gadget that will let them top up their phone on the go. This Anker will certainly help with that – it’s able to charge an iPhone up to 4.3 times and offers a USB-C and USB-A port so two phones can be charged simultaneously. It’s nice and lightweight too, only weighing 467g, and offers a 20,000mAh capacity.
Omnia Stovetop Oven
If you’re buying for someone who’s mentioned a small oven in their tourer – or no oven at all – this Omnia could be their favourite gift they receive this year. It’s easy to use, it’s compact and lightweight, and doesn’t even require any installation – instead, it works on all heat sources, except for an induction hob. There are also a wide range of extra accessories that can be bought to accompany it, giving you present ideas for years to come.
WACACO Nanopresso
Anyone who struggles to start their day without a caffeine hit is bound to appreciate the WACACO Nanopresso as a Christmas present. It’s particularly useful as it operates manually, so it doesn’t even require a battery or electricity to run. Instead, all you need is ground coffee and hot water, then you’ll be able to enjoy a nice espresso on tour, complete with a cream layer.

Stocking filler gifts for caravan owners

If you’ve drawn someone in the office Secret Santa who is a keen caravanner, this cheerful mug could make the perfect gift. Made of porcelain, it has a volume of 300ml and is decorated with a lively pattern of different types of caravans and motorhomes, as well as images of the great outdoors, providing a welcome reminder of being pitched up.
Fun Caravans Camping Coasters
These cheerful coasters are printed in the UK and provide a cheerful reminder of our favourite pastime. Coming in a pack of four, they have a cork base layer to avoid scratching the surface beneath, as well as an MDF middle layer and a glossy upper layer.
Uno Card Game
Caravanners aren’t typically blessed with huge amounts of space or payload allowance for packing items to take on tour, which is where small games like Uno come into their own. It’s the ideal size for slipping into a pocket before heading out for the day or for an evening of fun and games. It’s also incredibly fun to play! Suitable for two or more players, the games are fast-paced and can become surprisingly tactical.
