Although it’s a little surprising to find only one site from the South-East making it into the Top 100 Sites 2022, it’s no surprise at all to see that it’s Concierge Camping taking the title of Regional Winner – as our 2020 Overall Winner performs consistently well.

Luxury is the absolute hallmark of this park, which is located on the Ratham Estate near Chichester, and at the foot of the South Downs National Park. It offers touring visitors a choice of 27 spacious, fully serviced hardstanding pitches, as well as a number of safari glamping tents. Each pitch is framed with hedging for privacy and there are three different sizes available.

Amenities include a launderette, indoor dishwashing area and a luxury toilet and shower block, where the award-winning washrooms have granite-topped wash areas and complimentary toiletries.

Dogs are welcome. There’s an on-site shop in addition to pubs within walking distance of the park.

For 2022, the site is adding a food court, with more bar space and social area. Here it willsserve Japanese street food and other delicious cuisine.

Overall, an excellent base from which to explore the National Park and beyond to the south coast.
