German manufacturer Knaus has updated its Sport range for the 2025 season. The new exterior features Cateye Evolution II tail lights on the rear panel. The interior has also been freshened up, with flat, handle-free locker doors and handle-free drawers, and wood-effect worktops and table surfaces.

CaraOne Edition models from Knaus’s budget brand, Weinsberg, meanwhile, now feature corner steadies made of glass fibre reinforced synthetic material, rather than galvanised steel, designed to save weight. The models also come fitted with a new-look drawbar cover.

Inside, Weinsberg has redesigned the upholstery to make it easier to access water tanks under the seats.

USB-C sockets have been added for the first time, as well as caravan layouts with rear fixed single beds that convert into a large double or “relaxation area” with roll-out slats.

The two caravan brands are to have a new toilet system as an option for the new season too. The Cleanflex system requires no plumbing and instead relies on a roll of self-sealing film to catch waste. It is to be made an option on all Knaus and Weinsberg vans, except those with a bench toilet.

The Cleanflex system features an “endless” film hose that is welded into place by a battery-operated heated wire before each use.

It then seals all odours and waste – including organic waste, nappies and sanitary products – into a drawer, which can be emptied in the same way as any other waste bin.

Knaus Tabbert says the new system is considerably more eco-friendly than conventional caravan toilets, because no harmful chemicals are involved and no water is wasted. And because no fixed cassette is needed, the toilet can be moved aside when not in use, making more room for the shower.

An indicator lets you know when the film is almost finished, and replacement cartridges are designed to take up a minimal amount of space. Cleanflex can also be retrofitted in most cases.

Other brands have also been sharing information about their 2025 ranges, including Coachman. The British brand has announced it is revamping its Acadia range, adding two new models in the process. Bristol-based Bailey has also unveiled its Unicorn Deluxe range, a six-model range where each tourer has a different unique layout.
