Fans of the Tranquil Parks group of adults-only sites will be pleased to hear that some of the group’s member campsites not normally open in the winter have been able to extend their season. So you can continue to visit your favourite site where it is permitted to do so.
Among those extending their season are: Back of Beyond in Dorset until 2 January 2021, reopening on 1 March; Old Oaks in Somerset and Grooby’s Pit in Lincolnshire will continue straight through to their 2021 season; Longnor Wood in Derbyshire continues until 19 February, reopening a week later on 26 February; while Greenacres in Cumbria will stay open an extra month until the end of November to reopen on 13 March.
