An air fryer can be invaluable in a caravan, providing fast and efficient cooking in tourers where there is no oven. If you’re on the lookout for a new one or are thinking of taking the plunge and kitting your tourer out with one for the first time, the good news is there are some excellent air fryer deals to be had in the Prime Day sale.
To give you a helping hand, I’ve done the hard work for you, trawling through the various offers to pick out the options I consider to be the pick of the bunch. This includes compact products for caravanners who tour on their own or as a couple, as well as larger options which will be more suited to families. One thing they all have in common is a low wattage, with the air fryers I’ve found all operating on between 900w and 1500w.

COSORI Small Air Fryer was £69.99 now £49.98
- Wattage: 900w
- Capacity: 2-litres
An ideal option for those with a smaller tourer, this COSORI only weighs 2.37kg, so it will not eat into your payload. As it’s suited to solo touring, or for those who are touring as a couple, it’s nice and compact, with its two-litre capacity ensuring you get a good amount of room for cooking. That, combined with its straightforward-to-operate digital display and touch buttons combine to make this a tempting prospect – add in the 29% Prime Day saving to bring it down to only £49.98 and it becomes even more appealing.
Tower T17021 was £69.99 now £39.99
- Wattage: 1500w
- Capacity: 4.3-litre
The wattage of 1500W seen in this Tower is at the upper limit of what we’d recommend for an air fryer in your van. However, this is a model that is suited to family life, with a capacity of 4.3-litres ensuring you have plenty of space for everyone. It can also do all of the essentials you could want from an air fryer, as it has bake, fry, grill and roast modes. It is manually controlled as opposed to other touch screen options I’ve found – simply use the temperature gauge to set it between 80 to 200 degrees.
Salter EK2817 2L Compact Air Fryer was £39.99 now £31.74
- Wattage: 1000W
- Capacity: 2-litre
Another low-wattage option for caravanners, this Salter air fryer comes in with a wattage of only 1000W, something which is only surpassed by the small COSORI that features elsewhere in my guide. This Salter has a two-litre capacity, so will be best for solo touring or twos. It’s able to reach up to 200° and offers both a timer and a temperature dial, as well as an auto-shut off feature and a very appealing price of only £31.74.
Russell Hobbs 4L Rapid Digital Air Fryer was £94.99 now £49.99
- Wattage: 1350W
- Capacity: 4-litre
There’s a lot to like about this Russell Hobbs air fryer. Not only does it have a wide range of settings, allowing ‘van owners to dehydrate, grill, air fry, reheat and cook from frozen, among others, but it also offers an excellent four-litre capacity and a wattage of only 1350W. It features touchscreen controls, which should be relatively easy to use, and there are even modes for cooking chicken, eggs and vegetables. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s reduced to only £49.99 over Prime Day too.
COSORI 3.5L Air Fryer was £78.99 now £49.99
- Wattage: 1500W
- Capacity: 3.5-litres
This COSORI comes with 13 different preset settings, making it a great choice for keen chefs on tour. Preset options include seafood, bacon, chicken, steak, frozen food, desserts, bread, French fries and more, while it also includes a keep warm function and even, helpfully, a reminder that tells you when the basket will require shaking. Both the temperature and time are straightforward to adjust via the one-touch buttons. However it does come with a wattage of 1500W, so again, you’ll need to make sure your setup can accommodate this.
