THE UNICORN CHARGE continues with the announcement of another addition to Bailey’s flagship line-up.

The Cadiz features a twin-single bed layout with a rear-washroom and centre offside kitchen. The basic layout closely mirrors that of the Pegasus II Rimini model launched at October’s Motorhome and Caravan Show at the Birmingham NEC but with the extra specification that comes as standard with Unicorn models. Chief among these is Alde ‘wet’ central heating system but pull-out daybeds, an AVTEX TV/DVD player and extra security kit as standard are the main highlights.

The Cadiz joins the Cabrera and Pamplona models as new additions to the ranges in the last three months and continues the naming convention of using Spanish cities (and one island)

Candid Cadiz

Like the Rimini, Cadiz has an open plan feel in the centre of the van compared to rivals. This is achieved by putting wardrobe in the washroom and the toilet on the back wall. This is only possible, according to Bailey’s technical bods, due to the back wall being a conventional sandwich panel, rather than a plastic moulding. Having a strong, flat wall to mount the toilet cassette door gives extra layout flexibility.

Aside from the bed and washroom areas, the Cadiz is set to be a comfortable and conventional tourer. A U-shaped lounge is standard, although there is an optional centre chest if required.

Prices and weights will not be announced until the show, but £19,800 and an MTPLM of 1580kg looks likely.

The Unicorn Cadiz will debut at the Motorhome Caravan and Camping Show on Tuesday 14th February at London ExCeL. For ticket information, click here. For more information on the Bailey Unicorn range, click here.
