The February NEC Show is upon us (21-26 February), and we’re looking forward to seeing the new caravan releases from the biggest names in the industry. However, the show offers the chance to see a lot more than just the latest tourers, as the launch of Vango ViewAR shows.
Released by Vango, the Augmented Reality (AR) technology will provide customers with a simple way of quickly viewing tents and awnings, allowing them to work out whether the product would fit their tourer or be big enough for their requirements.
The technology allows awnings and tents to be compared and measured to scale in real space.
Vango ViewAR is launching at the NEC at a time when the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show has a dedicated Tent and Camping Hall, with a 14% increase on the number that were there last year.
If you’re on the lookout for a new awning, it could be worth taking a look at our best caravan awning guide before you head to the show too.
Vango ViewAR is not the only new thing that will be on offer at the NEC, with the Adria Altea Tyne making its show debut, while the second generation Bailey Discovery range will also be launching, which includes the new D4-4L layout.
