Verdict
Lunar’s attempt at fixed triple bunks is cleverer than most due to the flexible rear bunk storage option.
Pros
This van benefits from one of the big design additions to the 2009 ranges: triple fixed bunks.
Cons
The front lounge is comfortable, but it would be a struggle to fit six people around the table.
Living
The front lounge is comfortable, but it would be a struggle to fit six people around the table. The rear dinette provides the extra space you’ll need for the kids. The rear dinette converts into another bunk, too. Storage here is excellent.
Kitchen
Opposite is the kitchen, which has a separate oven and grill, microwave, a 112-litre Thetford fridge and a four-burner hob. It’s generous with workspace, and the light-coloured surfaces look good, too.
Washroom
Midway along the offside is the washroom, which, though small, is well equipped, with Thetford’s new electric-flush toilet and a separate shower cubicle.
Beds
This van benefits from one of the big design additions to the 2009 ranges: triple fixed bunks.
Storage
In a clever design addition, the floor of the bottom bunk lifts up to create a large locker which can be accessed from the outside of the van.
